Submission Guidelies

Harmonic Factory Publishing has an open submissions policy. However we are a very small publishing house and simply do not have the operational or financial backing of a larger press. Therefore, though we will read and review un-agented manuscripts and proposals for picture books, early readers, middle-grade fiction, and young adult novels, only a selected few will be chosen for publication at this time. Please read the following instructions carefully. We will not review any submissions that do not adhere to the following format:

·         Provide a brief description of story

·         Provide a representative chapter or section of story

·         Provide a short bio mentioning previous publications or other background information relevant to your story

·         Provide titles for up to three comparative books published in the past five years. Explain how your manuscript is different

Rules and Directions for Participation

By submitting to us you acknowledge that we may currently be developing, or may plan to develop in the future, books based on similar internal ideas and/or based on previous submissions already in receipt that may be similar to your proposed idea or anything included in your submission.

Due to the great number of submissions we receive, response time varies. However, you will hear from us whether or not your work is selected for publishing. Please be assured of our utmost integrity.  If we do not publish your work, copies will be destroyed. You may send your work to other publishers at the same time. We do not require exclusive submissions.

All submissions should be sent to headquarters@harmonicfactory.com
